European Commission – Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann on IP implications in industrial 3D printing

April 20, 2020. NORDEMANN is known for closely monitoring and helping to shape new developments in intellectual property. The European Commission has published the results of a study on “The Intellectual Property implications of the development of industrial 3D printing”. Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann, partner at NORDEMANN and honorary professor at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, is a co-author of this extensive study. He focused on the effects on trademark law, but also contributed his ideas to other areas. The study was led by Dinusha Mendis (Bournemouth University). In addition to Dinusha, the study was co-authored by: Rosa Maria Ballardini, Hans Brorsen, Maria Del Carmen Calatrava Moreno, Julie Robsen and Phill Dickens.
