Why this clearinghouse? Recently, a broad business alliance established the CUII clearinghouse. It examines whether DNS blocking can be considered for such websites. Review committees chaired by former German Supreme Court (BGH) judges have been formed for this purpose. Their recommendations are monitored by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur). The Neue Juristische Wochenschrift (NJW) has interviewed our NORDEMANN partner Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann who was involved in the project as a representative of the legal advisors and as the project manager.
