Can Rembrandt be brought back to create one more painting?
The Frankfurt district group of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) invites to a talk on 24 September 2020 by NORDEMANN partner Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann, LL.M and Niklas Maamar, research assistant at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, on the subject of “Copyright and related rights in AI-generated works”. Using the example of “The Next Rembrandt”, a painting created by artificial intelligence in the style of Rembrandt. The two speakers will explain the latest state of legal research and the latest resolution of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
The event will take place online via zoom.
