Michael Renner advises and represents rights holders, collecting societies, associations of collecting societies, and companies in all matters of copyright and media law. He has many years of experience in out-of-court and court representation of rights holders and their organizations, as well as in accompanying complex negotiations and legal proceedings.

Furthermore, Mr. Renner practices in data protection law as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Data Protection Risk Manager (FOM Hochschule), and certified data protection officer (TÜV). He advises companies on data protection issues and compliance requirements.

Michael Renner studied in Munich, Aix-en-Provence, and London and earned his doctorate with a thesis in banking and capital market law. Before joining NORDEMANN, he headed the IP enforcement department in a Munich boutique law firm and was a founding partner of two firms specializing in his areas of copyright focus.

Mr. Renner speaks German, English, and French.
