Jonathan Kropp specialises in IT law, with a particular focus on drafting and negotiating IT contracts as well as on data law. He has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution, particularly in software disputes – such as copyright infringements and failed IT projects – as well as in cases involving trade secret misappropriation. In his day-to-day practice, he supports his clients in protecting and successfully commercialising their intellectual property and know-how.

He studied law in Freiburg, Florence and Berlin and obtained his PhD on the liability of host and access providers for copyright infringements. Before joining NORDEMANN, he worked for more than ten years in IT law at an international law firm. Today, he regularly speaks at conferences and professional events on current topics in IT, data and copyright law.
