Philipp Engert

Philipp Engert advises on trade mark, design and unfair competition law. He has many years of experience in representing owners of well-known brands in trade mark, design, and unfair competition disputes, including protection against unfair imitations of consumer goods and counterfeiting cases.

In addition, Philipp has in-depth experience in handling complex commercial and consumer rights litigation as well as with matters concerning protected geographic indications and food law regulations.

Another focus of Philipp’s work is providing strategic advice to his clients on the filing, adminstration and prosecution of trade mark portfolios on a national and international level as well as providing guidance on advertising and marketing campaigns.

Following his clerkship in Munich and San Francisco Philipp has worked for several years at another leading law firm in the field of intellectual property law.
