Do domain registrars have a duty to block copyrights infringing websites?
Following his article in the German GRUR journal in early January, Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann has published an English-language article on the recent BGH decision “Stoererhaftung des Registrars” in the Kluwer Copyright Blog. The new decision on provider liability and the development on the liability of registrars, providers and structurally infringing customers is worth discussing beyond the German borders.
